Functional Safety Engineer

Summary

Embed functional safety across fuel cell systems by leading hazard and risk analyses (HARA, HAZOP, FMEA/FMEDA, FTA), deriving and allocating safety requirements across hardware, software and controls, and defining/verifying safety mechanisms and diagnostics. Perform SIL/PL/ASIL and PFH/PFD calculations, compile safety cases and certification documentation, interface with notified bodies and customers, and coach teams to maintain a strong safety culture for hydrogen and high-voltage applications that support decarbonisation.
