Summary

Leads acquisition, processing, and large-scale analysis of climate and geospatial data to build and validate hazard/peril models that quantify climate-driven risks (flood, wildfire, hurricane) and associated damages. Designs and operates scalable data pipelines and Unix-based workflows, applies statistical analysis and machine learning to improve model accuracy and quantify uncertainty, and provides technical leadership and QA for the Data Science/Data Engineering team to productionize climate risk outputs for financial decision-making.
