Senior Biodiversity Officer

Summary

Provides specialist biodiversity and ecology technical support across the planning process, advising planning teams on complex ecological matters and reviewing EIA and Biodiversity Net Gain proposals. Represents the council on major infrastructure and local plan matters, supervises junior biodiversity officers, and contributes to implementing the Local Nature Recovery Strategy and Biodiversity Action Framework through project work and stakeholder collaboration.
