Senior Policy Officer
Leads UK-wide policy work to turn scientific evidence on seagrass into clear policy positions, briefings and targeted influencing across Westminster and the devolved administrations. Engages with policymakers, regulators and partners to shape the policy and governance conditions required for large-scale protection, conservation and restoration of seagrass, addressing pressures such as land-use change, water quality and coastal development. Supports participatory science and collaborative stakeholder engagement to enable nature recovery and resilient seagrass ecosystems.
