About this role
Summary
Develops and optimizes carbon and graphite materials from sustainable precursors (GPC, CPC, needle coke, biogenic sources) for use in battery anodes, including calcination, sulfur removal, graphitization, and microstructure control. Performs advanced materials characterization (XRD, Raman, XPS, SEM/TEM, BET), fabricates electrochemical test cells to validate performance, scales lab processes to pilot production, supports process optimization and safety, and contributes to technical reporting and IP activities.
