About this role

Summary

Quantify how vegetation adapts to a changing climate and implement a time-varying vegetation parameterization in the wFlow-SBM hydrological model. Use model experiments to analyze how vegetation changes affect soil moisture, groundwater and streamflow and to improve prediction of hydrological extremes and seasonal water supply in the Rhine–Meuse system. Work involves model development, programming/GIS, and collaboration with national water management and industry partners.
