GHG Quantification and Mangrove Specialist, Nature-Based Solutions (NbS)
Designs and reviews carbon accounting methodologies and calculations for blue carbon (mangrove and tidal wetland) projects, applying biostatistical techniques and developing predictive models. Compiles literature and field data, builds models and tools in Excel and Python for baseline, ex-ante and ex-post carbon estimates, and assesses non-permanence risks such as sea-level rise, erosion, salinity and wetland migration. Manages in‑situ data collection and site verifications, supports project managers on budgeting and scheduling, and contributes to business development for nature-based solutions programs.
