Doctoral Researcher (PhD Student) in Butterfly Ecology and Climate Change Across Europe
Uses museum specimens, field collections and long-term monitoring to assess how butterfly body size and wing pigmentation have shifted with warming and whether such shifts affect population persistence. Combines international fieldwork and museum digitisation with automated image analysis, large biodiversity datasets and advanced statistical modelling in R to produce reproducible, publication-quality research.
