Full-Stack Geospatial Data Engineer
Designs and implements end-to-end geospatial data pipelines and APIs for a carbon MRV platform, processing satellite imagery (Sentinel, Landsat) through STAC→xarray→Parquet/Zarr/IPFS workflows and optimizing memory and I/O for petabyte-scale workloads. Builds and maintains microservices, GraphQL/REST geospatial APIs, and Next.js/React dashboards; automates infrastructure and orchestration with tools like Terraform/Pulumi, Prefect, and CI/CD; conducts code reviews, profiles performance, and mentors/hires engineers to support monitoring of land cover, vegetation health, carbon stocks, land-use change, and project risks.
